Man wanted for questioning in Sunalta LRT station homicide found in Saskatchewan

Calgary police say they have located a man they wanted to question about a homicide at the Sunalta LRT station.

The man was seen on CCTV footage released by police last weekend.

He was located in Saskatchewan and has been interviewed by investigators.

Police say no charges have been laid and their investigation into the murder continues.

“Detectives are not searching for anyone else in relation to this file,” police said in a statement.

Eric Lavallee, 52, of no fixed address in Calgary, died after an altercation at the station around 11:20 p.m., on Friday, April 28.

Police believe Lavallee and the man spoken to by investigators were known to each other prior to the altercation occurring.
