Two men are injured from being stabbed Sunday morning in downtown Montreal.
Police received a 911 call shortly before 11 a.m. and found the two men on Amherst St., just south of Robin St.
The men, 26 and 28, were rushed to a hospital, said Montreal police spokesperson Raphaël Bergeron.
A 20-year-old woman was arrested in the afternoon Sunday after the victims were able to describe her to investigators. She was found in Place Emilie-Gamelin, about half a kilometre from the crime scene. Police are still searching for a second male suspect whose identity is not known.
While the 28-year-old suffered serious injuries, both victims are in stable condition and their lives are not in danger.
Amherst St. was closed from Robin St. to de Maisonneuve Blvd. on Sunday afternoon as police investigated.
Police are working to determine the motive for the stabbings.
