Pizza Hut are giving away FREE pizzas on Sunday…but there’s an embarrassing catch

PIZZA Hut are celebrating the upcoming Oscars event with some very exciting freebies.

Fast food lovers wanting to get a slice of the Academy Awards’ action can get hold of some tasty treats without breaking the bank… but there’s a catch.

The participating Pizza Hut outlets will only award the deal to the first eight glam customers

Customers wanting to make the most of the promotion can only claim the freebie if they dress up in Hollywood-inspired outfits on Sunday, February 26.

Those who glam up will be granted the pizza free of charge if they visit the Huts at The Strand, London, Glasgow Argyle Street, Birmingham Bullring and Cardiff Queen Street.

The promotion has reminded film lovers of the 2014 Oscars, when Ellen Degeneres gave out pizzas

Sadly, the promotion won’t be running all day.

Only the first eight customers to arrive at each branch will be given a free pizza, up to the value of £10.

The freebie deal is being launched at the same time as the Oscars ceremony due to a funny moment that happened during the 2014 Awards Ceremony.

At the annual event, popular comedian Ellen DeGeneres stole the show by handing out pizza to A-listers in the audience.

Gareth Hopley, Head of Communications at Pizza Hut Restaurants, said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to all of our customers for giving us the support and encouragement needed to make the last year a success.

“Without you by our side and your continued generosity, none of this would have been possible – for this we are eternally grateful.

“This awards season we’ll be rewarding our very own stars – our customers – by presenting them with the tastiest prizes.

“We look forward to welcoming a whole host of glamorous guests into our Huts this weekend and hope they enjoy the edible awards on us!”
