Mel B appears composed as she’s spotted for the first time since reports said she is ‘seeking help for emotional abuse’

MEL B continues to put on a brave face following further details of her ‘abusive’ relationship with soon-to-be ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

The 41-year-old Spice Girl looked composed as she went about her business in Beverley Hills on Sunday.

The star was spotted wearing a tight fitting white top and pencil skirt combination – and paired it with a flowing light pink coat and pink Puma shoes.

The star added some rose tinted glasses – while the memories of her 10-year marriage to Stephen, 41, are likely to be a lot less rosy.

On Sunday it was reported Mel is seeking help from a victim support group following the alleged emotional abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband.

Mel has accused her ex of beating her during their marriage, and a new report suggests she has found a way to help her deal with the emotional aftermath.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Mel has turned to victim support groups, including an organisation named Victims Of Narcissistic Abuse, after she left Stephen.

A source told the publication: “These groups are a great source of support.

“They will be providing Mel with a lot of inspiration and comfort.”

It comes as The Sun on Sunday revealed the former couple had a major bust-up after he accused her of sleeping with X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

The claims caused blazing rows when Mel starred on X-Factor and sparked a rift that led to the collapse of their marriage.

Mel has been putting her divorce drama aside to get back to work filming in California.

The star is currently a judge on series 12 of America's Got Talent - which is due to commence airing in America on Tuesday 30 May.
