Coronation Street fans fear for Bethany Platt as Nathan Curtis reveals sinister plan for the ‘next stage’

CORONATION Street fans were left fearing for Bethany Platt this evening as Nathan Curtis revealed his sinister plan for the “next stage”.

After alienating her from her family by goading her mum’s boyfriend Gary (Mikey North) into hitting him, he now has Bethany right where he wants her.

Once Bethany (Lucy Fallon) was out of the room, he crept up to Mel and gripped her by the chin.

Nathan (Chris Harper) smirked and said: “What do you reckon? Out girl…”

When she began to voice her concern, his voice hardened as he told her: “It’s time. I’m not asking, I’m telling. She’s ready for the next stage.”

Nathan seemed to take joy in telling Mel about his sick plan[/caption]

Earlier this week she was manipulated into moving in with Nathan but Bethany’s horrific grooming storyline will take an even dark turn later as Bethany is raped by Nathan’s vile mate Neil.

The harrowing ordeal will leave Bethany devastated and unable to understand why Nathan allowed it to happen.

Today’s episode saw Nathan and Neil discuss their plans with Bethany as well as their sick grooming operation.

After he got Bethany (Lucy Fallon) and Mel to go and help clean up the salon, Nathan discussed “work”.

Neil questioned: “If you’re the only one she ever wants how is it ever gonna work?”

Nathan placated him by telling him: "She’s taking a bit longer than most but I will sort it. What’s the score in Newcastle?"

His friend revealed: "Something’s going on with Rebecca, she’s making the others… jittery."

Bethany's groomer boyfriend said: "I knew she was trouble. Maybe we should move her again?"

Neil then told him to "sort it" as they couldn't afford any more mistakes.
