NETFLIX smash Stranger Things was the big winner at Sunday’s first-ever MTV Movie & TV Awards, so it’s fitting two of its young stars had all eyes on them as they put on a big display of affection.
I can reveal NATALIA DYER and CHARLIE HEATON, who play on-screen love interests in the show are dating in real life too.
The pair were spotted holding hands at an afterparty, which they left together at 1am on Monday.
They spent the night dancing at Hollywood venue Delilah, which also played host to A-listers including LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, TOBEY MAGUIRE and NOAH CYRUS.
At the ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, Natalia and Charlie — who joined their kid co-stars on stage to accept Stranger Things’ gong — were seen whispering to each other while he rested his hand on her knee. An onlooker said: “Natalie and Charlie started the night trying to play it coy.
“During the awards, Charlie kept giving her little touches which she would quickly move away from.
“But when they got to the after party that all changed.
“Still on a high from their win, they held hands freely and Charlie even gave Natalia a loving pat on the bum while they were talking to pals.”
Natalia, 20, and Charlie, 23, play will they-won’t they high school lovers Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers in the supernatural Eighties-themed drama. The pair have faced romance rumours before after they were spotted jetting out of LA together in January.
But they’ve desperately tried to brush off questions about their relationship.
When quizzed about it in March, Natalia said: “Whether people are dating or hanging out, I think that our cast is just cool with each other. We’re all one big family.”
The pair’s 13-year-old co-star MILLIE BOBBY BROWN went viral following the awards for her tearful speech after she was named Best Actor in a Show for playing telekentic skinhead Eleven. The long-awaited second season of Stranger Things debuts on Netflix on Halloween.
If they’re lucky, next year Natalia and Charlie will bag Best Kiss.

CARA DELEVINGNE’s new cropped look clearly got the thumbs-up from US reality star AMBER ROSE.
The pair posed together on the red carpet at the bash, showing off their matching shaved heads.
Model Cara, who cut off her locks for a film role, also gave fans a glimpse of a painted flower on the back of her buzz cut, as well as her real tattoos on the back of her neck and upper spine.
Amber is a former enemy of KIM KARDASHIAN, having previously dated her husband KANYE WEST.
I can’t see her friendship with Cara turning sour – even when the Brit grows out her hair.
VIN DIESEL is lucky he doesn’t have any hair – or it would have got soaked when a huge hailstorm saw the red carpet abandoned an hour early.
A few celebrities – including Vin, GAL GADOT, JORDANA BREWSTER and TYRESE GIBSON, right – were forced to take shelter in a multi-storey car park, which meant they missed the chance to meet fans who had waited hours.
These Hollywood types would have no chance surviving a British winter.
13 REASONS Why star ROSS BUTLER was feeling the effects of a big night at the bash. The actor, who plays Zach in the Netflix hit, had partied with a mystery blonde until gone 2am at celeb haunt Delilah the previous evening.
EMMA WATSON won the first ever gender-neutral Best Actor category at Sunday’s bash and said it was “very meaningful” to receive a gong which didn’t separate nominees by sex.
But her speech was met with a backlash from PIERS MORGAN, who ranted on ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “Oh God! Can’t we have men and women, seriously? Where does this end?”
Even Sun columnist and my colleague LORRAINE KELLY was unimpressed when I revealed Emma had an, erm, annoying trick up her sleeve too – using an autocue to read her pre-written speech out like a script.
A source said: “It was clear she knew she’d win – she’d written and rehearsed her speech. No other winner had the same treatment.”
Emma Watson getting special treatment? No surprises there.
HEY VIOLET have been described as “teen pop’s revenge” and admit to being “loud and obnoxious”.
But the US band, left, were an absolute pleasure as they did an exclusive live session on my Facebook yesterday ahead of the first of three UK tour dates in London.
The group showcased their new single Break My Heart and crowd-pleaser Guys My Age, before answering fan questions about dating, hit teen show 13 Reasons Why and their label-bosses-turned-pals 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER.
You can watch their performance at facebook.com/danwootton.
CAMILA CABELLO has barely had any spare time since quitting FIFTH HARMONY last year.
So it was no wonder she used her downtime at the ceremony to chat up handsome Mexican actor Diego Boneta. A source said: “Camila looked over the moon to see Diego. They swapped telephone numbers and hugged before he went back to his seat. They seemed very friendly.”
Camila, who performed her new song Hey Ma with PITBULL and J BALVIN, has previously been linked to SHAWN MENDES.
Meanwhile, Diego has appeared in Scream Queens and Rock of Ages over the years as well as releasing three albums.
I’m sure they could make beautiful music together.
STARS who took part in the ceremony have lots of stuff they can regift in the next few months. Each got a luxury goody bag filled with all sorts, from holidays at five-star resorts in Costa Rica and Dubai to, erm, some shampoo and honey.
REBEL WILSON has a new admirer – even when dressed as a teapot.
The US actress, who opened the show with a Beauty And The Beast parody, is dating Hollywood stuntman Aden Stay.
They confirmed their romance before Friday’s bash when they were spotted kissing at LA seafood restaurant Catch.
Later she shared a picture in her action man’s arms at the ceremony, captioned: “Thanks to my sexy date tonight”.
I suggest afternoon tea for their next date.
