First picture of final Manchester bombing victim Megan Hurley, 15, as pals pay tribute to ‘sensitive, music-mad, animal lover’

THIS is the smiling face of 15-year-old Megan Hurley – the last of the 22 victims of the Manchester bomb blast.

The tragic teen was one of seven young girls killed as they watched Ariana Grande perform at a gig in Manchester Arena on Monday night.

Her brother Bradley, 20, was left seriously injured in the devastating explosion and her parents are thought to be by his bedside as he recovers.

A picture of the 15-year-old smiling for the camera was released after she was confirmed as the 22nd victim of the atrocity.

The schoolgirl, from Liverpool, was remembered in a church service this week and a JustGiving page has been set up to help her family.

Helen McDermott, who set up the page, said: "People locally thought it would be a good idea to try and help her family, there has been a lot of sympathy and support throughout the community for them.

"We are overwhelmed by how much has been donated."

Locals also held a vigil for the tragic teen last night and released pink balloons into the air.

One friend told the Telegraph: "Megan was a lovely, quiet, sensitive person, who absolutely loved her music."

They said she was also an animal lover, and kept rabbits.

Another added: "She was very gentle and unassuming, not an extrovert, but she had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh."

Megan, who attends Halewood Academy, was confirmed dead by her aunt Maxine Benson.

She said: "My poor sister and Mike are destroyed beyond words... it doesn't seem fair for two kids to go to a concert and only one returns how in God's name could this happen to such a lovely family... heartbroken xx."

Neighbours told the Daily Mail that Megan was due to celebrate her 16th birthday next week.

The devastating list of victims includes eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, who has become one of the youngest Brits ever killed in a terror attack.

Also among the dead are a teen couple who “wanted to be together forever”, loving parents waiting to collect their children and an off-duty cop.
