Woman, 21, arrested on suspicion of Syria-related terror offences at Heathrow after flight from Turkey
POLICE last night arrested a 21-year-old woman at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of Syria-related terror offences.
The unnamed woman from North London had flown in on a flight from Istanbul, Turkey.
She was arrested just after 9pm and is being held in a London police station under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Cops have also raided two properties in North London in relation to the arrest.
A Scotland Yard statement released last night did not give further details.
