This week on Great British Bake Off is bread week and there is one question on everyone’s lips.
Could any of the bakers create a bread sculpture masterpiece as magnificent and as iconic as Cecil the Lion baked by contestant Paul Jagger in 2015?
The short answer: no.
But there were still some brilliant bakes which prove (hoho) all you need is some imagination and a lot of skill when it comes to bread baking.
As always, I obviously haven’t been able to eat any of the bread sculptures but I have cast my critical eye over them and ranked them.
